These springs were designed on the bosses car.  That's right.  The A6 that hauls the Road Magnet exhibit to all of those car shows on the east coast.  So the rear rate is stiff at 850#/inch, but with the vehicle weight it still rides smooth.  We run up to 21" wheels on this car without any problem (except when loaded down with 650 pounds of springs in the rear along with a bump in the road!).  But for normal driving we run 20" wheels and it drives great and stays flat in cornering and heavy braking.
