I am definitely happy with the drop! I just like how they don't feel rough, like the prokits on all my previous cars.

Wingzero Mazda 3 1.25" Drop

I have purchased a set of springs couple of months ago for my mazda 3 and I love them.  They really improved car handling without compromise on ride quality.

They are good. I have the drag one so they are a bit stiffer than the road ones but I like them. On normal roads and highway they perform admirably. Montreal has it's share of pot holes and those are a bit harsh on stock rims and F1s. But if you look where you're going it's not an issue.  Frankly, for anyone that drives spiritedly or simply wants firm grip in cornering and no body roll, these springs are awesome.

Well, I was able to drive the CT200h home last night and the ride was great.  I was expecting it to be a lot rougher than what it actually was.  It is a little more rigid, but not too aggressive and I feel it is just right for the vehicle.  As for the installation, it went very smooth.  We had no problems installing the Road Magnet springs.

Lexus CT 200h

They make great products for replacing stock set ups... and stand behind their work with is equally important.

Z's are notorious for negative camber when lowered... I haven't had ANY issues with replacement of stock suspension parts. Yes, I've had my springs on for almost 2 years now, and I had them on my RX8 for 3 years and my wife has had them on her RX8 for 2 years now too... ZERO issues...

Brandon's Z

installed my drags springs today and wow they are amazing dropped the car just like i wanted to

AW MAN!! the ride is better than stock yet smooooth.. thank you

Road Magnet produces great springs. My street rod has never driven better!

I must say I knew they were cosmetically the nicest looking drop available and they drove great around the city, but the track is where I realized I had by far the most comforting and performing springs available on the market.

It's all good with the RM's. Better ride quality, better handling and way better stance. IMO.

I'd recommend the Road Magnets over oem mz3, oem msp3 (on a mz3), Prokits, or Stechs. The ride is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for performance these are the springs for you. Choose your ride height (1.25 or 1.75) to suit your ride height needs and zoom zoom. These springs are hands down the best spring rates you can get for our cars without going to coils.

Just finished install and look is excellent. 1.1 front and 1.3 rear. Ride is noticeably stiffer with reduced body roll. Ride quality is still very good.

I highly recommend the springs, and the guys down at Road Magnet are great people.
Car looks hott, handles perfectly and rides smooth as pillows…They ride very nice, and handle like crazy, I'm really glad I went with Road Magnet.

Very nice ride for daily driving and also MUCH inproved handling. I did 1 track day with these and they were amazing… they will change how the ride feels.  my husband drives my car all of the time and doesn't have an issue with how the car drives.  other people who have driven my car have only mentioned how well it handles.  ride comfort is subjective to the people riding in the car.  from my personal experience and from talking to people who are often passengers in my car, no one has complained about ride comfort.

the springs ride awesome. they have a smaller but stiffer rate / coil wrap in the front. it was the first gen 2 xb i've done and it took me 1hr and 15 mins to do the front and back… 1.7 in the front and 2 in the back… the springs ride really good. way better than my 06 on gold lines…i can load anything in back and have no issues…i would deff. recomend them. you can order them directly from them, great customer service.

since road magnet makes custom springs for vehicles of all applications and ride heights they pretty much used my car as a demo to make their first ever bmw e46 lowering springs which will be available in two ride heights along with a powder coated finish and outstanding warranty - lowered (ridding your e46 of that dreaded wheel gap), and slammed (tucking tire in the front as well as rear) <- exact specs not yet known.  the process overall took about a month (two weeks to recieve the custom spring seat and two weeks to make the springs as well as adjust them). with an outstanding reputation (made team lexus' springs and helped them win the 2002 grand am championship not to mention bertil roos racing school trains drivers in cars equipt with their springs) the folks at road magnet were more than helpful and eager so a big thanks to mark and his crew and sure while i was skeptical initially, i'd like to now say i couldn't be happier as well as "Looking to go lower? Go Road Magnet!"

Put me down as another Road Magnet believer. I've had them for almost a year and a half, and NO issues at all

They keep the car level around turns and hugs turns faster and tighter than before…They designed the springs to have a equal or better ride than stock with stock shocks/struts, and i'd have to agree- about the same in a line, better in corners.  Clearance: no issue, i cleared speed bumps at the same speeds i took them before, i hit bumps in the road (so much construction goin on around here- its rediculous) and i can get it up that nasty curb to my driveway. Great springs!

I have the Road Magnet Drag Coils and I like them at the track…I like the stance my car has with the Road Magnet coils. At the track, they do not allow for the car to squat in the rear and keep the front planted where it needs to be.

I wanted to post a thread about these springs as i could not find much info about them on this site.
They claim 1" F & R drop and i am very happy with the results.
It is exactly the drop i was looking for since the MSP is my DD.
The MSP rides a lot smoother, due to the progressive springs i think.

...I love my roadmagnets i didn't find the ride to be any more harsh than stock but i found it can turn a shit-ton better!

I also have the Road Magnets and love them. The drop is right down to the tires. I don't think I've put more than 400 miles or so on them, but they are great so far.

You let me get in on the first Road Magnet group buy and it was a good spring. Later on I had the opportunity to get ahold of an NX with the Gen II RM and it was fantastic! IMO RM Gen II iis the best spring for the B13 over Hyperco Gen II.

If you are looking to put anything other then stock springs on your car, for the price I do not think you will find a better value then the Road Magnets. These springs were researched, tested, and have recieved great reviews.

It really change the car, especially when you used to ride with stock ones.
The car turns better, certainly because the drop increase the camber and of course less rolling due to higher spring rate.

the ride is kinda bumpy.. keep in mind these springs are not intended to be comfy, or stock like ride
they are not for "the weak

stay away from potholes and uneven pavement. the sound from impact is unforgiving.
on smooth pavement i hit some WOT and the sucker digs in. kinda nice. no weight transfer im assuming. im a fan.

In my opinion, these things are great. It helps the car in the handling department 10-fold. As far as the ride quality goes; to me it just drives as any regular lowered car does. I have driven lowered fits, scions, S10's, 240's, 200's, and I cant even remember what else... This thing drives the same as the rest. I never expected it to drive like an escalade, more like a $20k car lowered... I am more than happy with it.

I just installed mine today! Ride quality is great! Not too much bounce IMO...Pretty straight-forward install, quite easy actually.

Bumps aren't too different either, the front is definately more bouncy than stock and the rear feels about the same. Patches shouldn't be too rough with these springs

I've never bottomed out yet with the 1.75". It looks like it's too close but it's all good. Small coils face down in front and face up in the rear. Actually there is some sense to it. The small coils butt up against the fixed point on you suspension. If you look closely the fixed point in front is the lower perch. The fixed point in the rear is the upper control arm. Ahhh. See I have an answer for everthing. These Road Magnet seem like they are impossible to bottom out. Believe me I've tried.

The ride is pretty awesome. Feels pretty tight and for now a little stiff, but it should get better when I flip the rear springs to the right way. And by a "little stiff" I really mean a little. Mostly I don't even notice them at all unless I take a hard turn as it feels like my car is on rails! Bumps in the road especially on the freeway are amplified, but not really that bad. Not like old school lowriders bouncing around on the road riding on their bump stops. I'm sure if I put back my stock 17" the ride will be smoother, but I like it.

Every stock Mazdaspeed I've seen looks like it has a bigger gap in the back. I think that when you lower your car on any springs the extra neg camber makes the rear gap look bigger than it is. Maybe that's why RM settled on a 1.5". I know that Johnjay911 (M3R member) was the 2010 Mazdaspeed tester for RM back in March (that's a pic of his car on the website) and that RM had him come back twice to make sure the drop looked good after the springs settled in their final position. Sounds like your torn between coilovers, H & R and Road Magnet. Stop losing sleep and order the RM's.

Handling is improved over the stock springs because the RM's are firmer so you have less body roll in turns. Secondly because you are lowering your car 1.25 a little more negative camber is added in the front which makes your turn in response quicker. The car doesn't push like it did when it was stock. The most obvious improvement is with quick lane changes and on ramps. The balance of the car feels better. Ride quality doesn't suffer much because the RM's are progressive. I had prokits on my car before and these are a lot more comfortable for daily driving. Excess wear on your shocks is negligable and bottoming out is nearly impossible. I'm on 1.75" RM's and I accidently launched my car over some train tracks that I was unfamiliar with. For the split second I was in the air I thought that the landing was going to be really ugly but the landing was soft and I didn't bottom out. Bottoming out with prokits was a weeky ocurrance even under less extreem conditions. RM did the R&D before they put these into production. I don't know about install pricing because I do my own suspension work. If the springs are installed correctly they don't make any noise. Seriously I can't really think of anything bad to say about them.

I am really encouraged by the general reaction to these RM springs. I like the drop a lot. That "mature" drop, I have put away ricey things. I Like it! Well Done! If you're gonna pay to drive it, why not make it something really worth your while? --> If race cars use it, chances are it's for a very good reason...

I have had the Roadmagnets on for almost a year and love them!!! The ride is far from stock but, it isn't that bad. My car isn't a daily driver either. The look and handling are superb. No complaints here!!!

I have Road Magnet Springs and they are just fine. I daily drive my MS3 40 miles a day all in the city and have zero issues with a bouncy ride quality. I've also autocrossed them 3 times now and even finished 3rd overall out of 81 cars (PAX scoring) I'd recommend the Road Magnets to anyone looking for a sportier feel, an autocrosser not looking to spend money on coilovers at the moment, or someone who wants a nice looking drop.
